How to Update Your Aadhar Card Details Online
Step 1: Visit the official website of UIDAI (https://uidai.gov.in/)
Step 2: Locate the section of ‘My Aadhar’ and tap on ‘update your address online’
Step 3: Now if you don’t have a valid address proof, then tap select the option of ‘Request for address validation letter’ but if you have, then go for ‘Update Address’
Step 4: After proceeding, you will be redirected to another web page where you have to enter your 12-digit Aadhar number. Also, enter the security code and tap on getting OTP.
Step 5: In a minute or two, you will receive a one-time password (OTP) on the phone number which has been registered in Aadhar card. Simply enter that OTP and you will be logged in into your Aadhar account.
Step 6: Now you can choose any of the options that you want to change or update in your Aadhar card. For example, if you want to change your address, then tap on the address option.
Step 7: Proceeding from step 6, you have to enter that address which has been printed in the proof of address. And click on ‘Submit Update’
Step 8: Apart from this, if you want to modify your address, then you can select the option ‘modify’ and proceed further in the same way.
Step 9: After all the above steps, now choose the type of proof address that you want to submit and upload a scanned copy over the website. After this, click on submit.
Step 10: In this step, you have to select the BPO service provider which will verify your details. After verification form BPO, your details will be further forwarded to UIDAI which will again verify. If the details will be matching, then you will be provided with an acknowledgment slip. And you Aadhar will be updated in a few working days.
